The Finance Committee meets once a quarter to consider financial and banking arrangements in order to advise the Parish Council meetings on financial policy. Projects, maintenance costs and requests for Grants are also considered for recommendation to the full Council. Agendas and Minutes are produced for these meetings on a similar basis to the main Parish Council meetings.

The Committee is supported by Mr Terry Ketley - Parish Clerk & Responsible Finance Officer.
Finance Committee meetings are normally held in the Parish Office on Thursday evenings, commencing at 7.30pm.
The next meeting will be held on 09 February 2017 when, amongst other things, the budget and Parish Precept for 2017/18 will be reviewed. Dates of future meetings are displayed in advance on Parish Council notice boards for the next six months.
Advisory Working Groups
The Parish Council also convenes occasional informal working advisory group meetings to discuss particular issues in advance of formal Parish Council or Committee meetings. These groups cover such issues as Recreation and Youth, Seasonal Events including the Christmas Lights, Traffic and Community Safety and the Neighbourhood Plan. They are generally not open to the public although the Parish Council is always looking for help in these areas. In addition there is also a web-site editoral group led by Cllr Keith Woollven.
